Bari Zaki is a bookbinder in Chicago and a highly-collaborative client. She provides pdf’s from her photographer, and I interview her via telephone to get details for her Web captions and e-nnouncements. I also wordsmith her invitations and packaging and consult on elaborate configurations of vintage postage for her Bureau de Poste cards.
To capitalize on the photographs of Bari’s work taken for www.barizaki.com, we created sets of promotional postcards. Each card has a title starting with Re: and a brief caption, which is sometimes a haiku. The re:pertoire is ever-expanding.
